Although Russian-based Team Katusha had been competing as a UCI ProTeam since its inception in 2009, it was only a few weeks ago in February that the UCI granted a WorldTour licence for the 2013 season.  That’s a good progression, because as a ProTeam they have won two stages in the TdF.

This year they continue to ride with Canyon bikes.  Depending on the stage, Canyon’s Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team, and Aeroad CF 9.0, pictured respectively.

Their TT bike will be Canyon’s new Speedmax CF Evo.  Sorry for the fuzzy image.
