If you’re a fan of TV’s “The Amazing Race”, then you’d know its host, Phil Keoghan, is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Next week, as a tribute to TdF’s forgotten heroes, he and a few friends will be retracing the 1928 TdF route almost as exactly as humanely possible – same roads, passes, schedule, daily distances, and…..he will be doing so on a vintage 1928 bike. That means it’s a singlespeed. Is the guy nuts? 🙂 That’s 3,500 miles over 28 days, averaging 150 miles a day. All filmed, real time, online. We can’t wait. More here: Le Ride
