If you consider yourself a serious roadie, you might still be resisting the inevitability of disc brakes on roadbikes….at least until the pros (or UCI) starts using them. 🙂 The major bike brands have released their own disc brake models, as you’ve probably seen here on Bike War.
However, two-year old Italian company Caam Corse did one “better” when it released their new GA8.2RR. Disc brakes? check. “Aerodynamic” seat tube fairing? Check. Integrated bottle cage? Check. Single-fork. Check……huh? Wait a sec.
That’s right – à la Cannondale’s Lefty fork. Weight weenies rejoice? Or are the aesthetics a design dealer breaker? Let us know what you think!
