There are few are wheels as desirable or recognizable as Mad Fiber wheels.  But innovative design and engineering couldn’t save the company.  Well, maybe not yet anyways.   The company merged with Divine Cyling Group earlier this year and Mad Fiber co-founder Ric Hjertberg left the company  back in August.  Word is the Seattle factory has shut down, and bankruptcy may be imminent.

And if DCG sounds familiar, yes, it’s same company that owned/acquired Serotta bicycles then promptly shuttered its doors; former employees of Serotta have since formed Saratoga Frameworks.
