This was a tough one for me… I really like the Cipollini’s lines but the Predator is quite badass in a simpler kind of way – the integrated bar/stem setup is very clean looking (though I imagine it would be very expensive to change if you were to buy the bike used and needed to change the cockpit length). Ended up going with the Cipollini.
Glad you took time to think about this match up. The Cipollini is one of the last Italian bikes to be truly made in Italy – all of it – and not just “designed” in Italy. Even Wiliers are made in Taiwan. The Predator, on the other hand, is completely built by hand in Southern California. Ultimately, they’re both great bikes – you can’t go wrong with either.
