I purchased a Guru Flite 3 weeks back here in Gahanna Ohio. After about 150 miles, I can say I love the bike! I test rode a dozen road bikes before choosing the Guru. The Flite is the perfect balance of stiffness, handling, quickness, comfort, and value. The colors are great. The only upgrade I made was an FSA K-Force SB25 carbon seatpost. This took off 1/4 pound, and added more comfort, reduced vibration over cracks, bumps, etc.
What I liked about the Flite (compared to many other bikes I tested) was the feel of the front of the bike (fork, steering) is balanced with the rear of the bike. Other “endurance” bikes I tested were too soft in the rear triangle. When you jump on the pedals it responds. It carves turns nicely. It feels solid and stable on all road conditions. It feels smooth and efficient at 25 mph.
This is not one of Gurus’ custom, hand built frames, but for the price, it rides really nice. Take one for a spin!

Thanks for your comments, Mike. We love Gurus. They’re not the “big boys” yet, but they sure have earned their enviable position for making great bikes. .
