Funny how the setup can make or break the bike’s aesthetics. Take the Kellys… The better paint scheme, but because the hoods are just a little higher on the bar, it throws the look off making the Principia the more desirable looking bike. A saddle that isn’t level can do the same thing. What do you think?
Absolutely agree. I think for these stock photos, bikes should be set up in the more agressive position. Like car ads, more often than not the fully loaded model is shown, with the better wheels, the leather seats, sunroof etc.
Technically, I’d rather see what I’m buying, as it will look for the money I spend. This way I can better compare models and what I’ll get for my money. I see your point, especially for the high-end models, but I’m also thankful I get to see my bike as it will be delivered, not just “what your bike could be if you spent $9,000.

Technically, the long stem on the Kellys adds to the mess. That should have been first.
