Lotto-Belisol is the Belgian version of French team FDJ: Primarily Belgian riders, sponsored by the Belgian lottery and Belgian corporate sponsor, riding, of course, Belgian Ridley’s. They took three stages last year, all by pure sprinter André Greipel. Predominantly French FDJ rides the French Lapierre Xelius, and of course, the title sponsor FDJ is the French lottery. Spanish team Euskaltel Euskadi in their well-recognized orange livery rides on with the Orbea Orca equipped with Shimano components and wheels. In order to maintain its UCI World Tour status, the Basque team changed its policy of having primarily Spanish riders.
