Blanco Pro Cycling

From the ashes of the former Team Rabobank, who pulled their sponsorship at the end of the 2012 season because of doping allegations, Blanco Pro Cycling enters the 2013 season with many of Rabobank’s former riders. The team itself has been around for almost 30 years under various sponsorship names.

Bike of choice? Giant’s recently released Propel Advanced SL. Having undergone extensive windtunnel testing using specially-developed dynamic full-scale mannequins, the Propel is said to be the most aerodynamic road bike ever produced. According to Giant, “At a speed of 40 kilometers per hour over a distance of 40 kilometers, the Propel Advanced SL was 12 to 36 seconds faster than the other bikes tested.”
