Advertising group DDB out of Singpore created a unique series of ads for a bicycle shop, Life Cycle, that’s garnered worldwide attention, and is a recipient of the Clio Awards for excellence in advertising and design. The images are made of bicycle parts, and the messages are thought provoking on how bicycles can impact our lives. We think they’re uber cool.

So true too – I don’t know how I navigated corporate life without my bike… Now that I’ve got it though, life sure is good.
Next on by biking bucket list is to ride Haleakala! 🙂
The text on the first ad makes me think of George Carlin’s bit about the burden of having stuff and houses: “That’s what your house is, a place to keep your stuff while you go out and get…more stuff! Sometimes you gotta move, gotta get a bigger house. Why? No room for your stuff anymore.”
Isn’t that what’s so great about the bike? Just you and the bike and that’s it, total freedom.
