You know, the De Rosa is the Italian and more popular bike (and the one I voted for because its winning was a no-brainer)… That said, I’d buy the compact MMR before the De Rosa any day of the week and twice on Sunday, just for the geometry.
Are you not liking the “aero” frame with the dropped seat stay design? Riding buddy compared (physically at the dealer) the SK, the Basso Diamante SV, and the Cipollini Nk1K…..and chose the Basso. All aero frames.
